Forum Basics - Ranks

Guide To Forum Ranks:

-Moderation Ranks-
[These ranks include members with the necessary permissions to moderate and maintain the forum]

[Staff] Administrator:
Top-Level rank held by the site-owner. Unobtainable by any other accounts.

[Staff] General:
The highest rank that ordinary members can reach. It has powers such as modifying any information about users, changing the forum layout, and creating boards. Manages long term forum work and urgent moderation.

[Staff] Lieutenant:
The standard moderator. These members can remove comments and threads, edit some information about users, accept or deny users, and more. They manage day to day moderation.

-Standard Ranks-

[These are your "standard" ranks. They have neither moderation or punishment status. Most people will fall into this group]

War Veteran:
Honorary rank of retired moderators. Users with this rank maintain the ability to view the Moderation board. They are equivalent to Soldier in all other respects.

Soldier:
Exclusive role allowing users to access the Barracks and Voting Booth. Soldier promotions are suggested and voted upon by other soldiers. Think of it as a reward of recognition for contributing positively to the community.

Private:
The default rank. It is given to every member upon joining the forum. No powers or limitations.

-Punishment Ranks-

[These are the ranks you don't want. You get them by breaking the rules]

[Punishment] Grunt:
Similar to private. Has a number of limitations such as losing the ability to post threads. Used for repeat offenders that got out of a greater punishment or for minor offenses to the rules.

[Punishment] Prisoner of War:
Normal punishment for members that break the rules. Is confined to PoW Camp. Can't post threads.

[Punishment] Giblet:
This member is unlikely to return to the forums. They can't do anything. Not all banned members have this as their primary membergroup.

[Punishment] Banned:
Members with this rank are banned from the forum, but may still submit an appeal to be unbanned.

-Post-Based Ranks-

[As you post, your post-rank will increase. These ranks are mostly cosmetic. The number of stars displayed on a user's profile is typically determined by these]

Our post-based ranks are as follows:

- Magnet: requires 0 posts
- Repeller: requires 50 posts
- Turret: requires 125 posts
- Launcher: requires 225 posts
- Drone Turret :requires 350 posts
- Speeder: requires 500 posts
- Cruiser: requires 800 posts
- Reverser: requires 1400 posts
- Guard: requires 2600 posts
- Tank: requires 5000 posts
- Heavy Cruiser: requires 10000 posts
- Disruptor: requires 15000 posts
- Koptr: requires 20000 posts
- Centipede: requires 25000 posts
- Bugmeister: requires 30000 posts
- Electropede: requires 35000 posts
- Mogura: requires 40000 posts
- Spider: requires 50000 posts
